FC Denver Appoint Jami Cobb as Women's Head Coach

FC Denver announce that the club has appointed Jami Cobb as the head coach of it’s Women’s Soccer program. Cobb joins FC Denver with hall of fame-level history in Colorado Soccer. From her start as a nationally recognized local player (US National Team Pool, HS & College All-American, and first women to play in Men’s Pro Indoor League) to her decades of top level coaching experience (player & coach for multiple Colorado Women’s Semi-Pro teams, National Champion ODP State Select Coach, Colorado Rush and Colorado Rapids Girls Select coach), Jami needs no introduction to those in the Colorado Soccer community

“Jami has set the standard for coaching top girls and women’s players in our state” said FC Denver President, Eric Fulton. “Make no doubt about it, adding someone of Jami’s experience and pedigree to our already foundationally strong women’s program is meant to raise eyebrows for what is possible in Colorado Women’s soccer. We are putting a stake in the ground for the development of an elite women’s soccer program, and Jami is the right person to take us there.”

Jami Cobb immediately takes the Women’s head coaching reigns as we head into off-season and look ahead to Spring 2021 League play.

  • Cobb is widely known in Colorado from her success as a player, as a coach, and as longtime manager at some of the most iconic Denver indoor soccer facilities.

  • Cobb mostly recently served as Colorado Rapids Girls Select Coach, coaching one of the best U19 girls teams in the state.
